Welcome to First Presbyterian Church Shared Ministry
Where YOU are Loved!
First Presbyterian Church Shared Ministry was created in 2011 as a way for 2 congregations to share, not only a pastor, but to be partners in ministry to the community and the world. While each congregation maintains its unique history and personality, several times each year the congregations come together for Worship, Fellowship, Outreach, and Fun.
This weeks worship announcements...
Week of Sunday January 26, 2019
Stay Tuned; There’s Always Something Going On!
If you are in need of assistance outside the office hours please contact Sheila Hale at 325-207-8241.
January is the month for FPC to volunteer at the Scurry County Food Cupboard. If you are available to help, please arrive at 812 25th Street by 8:30 AM. If you are interesting in making an impact but cannot work the food cupboard is in need of canned green beans and corn. Those items can be delivered any Tuesday between 9 AM - 12 PM. Thank you!
This week in worship we will sing, “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee” and “For the Beauty of the Earth”. The message this week will be titled “Welcome Home” delivered by Elder Sara Core.
Our scriptures for this week are:
1 Corinthians 1:10-18
Hope you can join in Sunday morning for this time together!
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
